Our relationship with Gernot Wagner has grown through a shared appreciation for the development and possibilities of the classical guitar. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working closely with Gernot and following his instruments at close range. This close connection has also given Fonzo Selection the particular privilege of being entrusted with the representation of his guitars.

For 2027, we are continuing this collaboration with a new building slot. It is a meaningful opportunity for us to remain closely connected to Gernot’s work and to follow the creation of another instrument from the earliest stages of its development. Wagner’s contribution to the evolution of the modern double top guitar, together with his distinctive approach to sound, remains an important part of his identity as a maker. We look forward to seeing where his work takes this next instrument.
