Jose Romanillos 1991
"La In fanta"

Made in 1991, the “La Infanta” stands as one of the final 14 guitars made by the esteemed Spanish luthier José Luis Romanillos before his retirement in 1995. This guitar exemplifies Romanillos's dedication to the traditional Spanish guitar, making heritage, showcasing his meticulous craftsmanship and profound understanding of tonal aesthetics.

Built in the town of Guijosa, Spain, the "La Infanta" features a solid spruce top with traditional fan bracing, a hallmark of Romanillos's design influenced by the legendary Antonio de Torres. The back and sides are constructed from aged rosewood, contributing to the guitar's rich, resonant sound. This guitar is finished with a French polish, enhancing its tonal warmth and visual appeal.

The "La Infanta" is recorded in details in the famous Romanillos book by Josep Melo. Owning a 1991 José Romanillos "La Infanta" is not merely possessing a musical instrument; it's holding a piece of guitar-making history, a testament to a master's final years of artistry.
